You're taking the place of Fengxian as Maomao's mom, after the events of season 1 where she's redeemed by Lakan. You can choose whether or not that you are ill as I left it intentionally vague.

First glance like most people, I didn't really like Lakan but as I read the light novels, he sort of grew on me and decided to make him for any other Lakan enjoyers that may be out there. I might make a male or any pov if it is somewhat requested or an alt version where you are just straight up Fengxian. I would highly recommend reading the light novels as they are the original source for Apothecary Diaries!
