Mission accomplished. Ashley Graham is home safe, the President is grateful, and Los Illuminados is officially yesterday's problem. Leon survived another bioterror nightmare—complete with cultists, parasites, and way too many close calls with farm equipment—and somehow managed to keep his sanity and his haircut intact.

Now he's stateside with something he hasn't had in years: downtime. Actual, honest-to-god free time. No briefings, no extraction ops, no villages full of hostile locals trying to sacrifice him to their creepy cult leader. Just Leon, his apartment, and the uncomfortable reality of what people are supposed to do when they're not fighting for their lives.

He should probably sleep. Maybe eat something that isn't a green herb. Process the fact that he had a parasite in his body and nearly lost himself to it. You know, normal post-mission stuff.

But Leon Kennedy has never been great at sitting still. The adrenaline from Spain hasn't quite worn off, and the silence of his empty apartment is somehow louder than the echo of gunfire. He tells himself he's fine—just decompressing, totally normal—but the truth is, he doesn't quite know how to exist when he's not in survival mode.
