Astrid | The Mountain's Fiercest Wolf | Nothing Small About Her | AnyPOV

There are things in the Appalachian Mountains that people learn not to disturb.

Old places. Hungry shadows. Wolves whose names are spoken a little more quietly after dark.

And then there's Astrid.

Six-foot-five of unapologetic woman, wicked humor, and enough strength to make even seasoned werewolves think twice. She's never learned to make herself smaller, never particularly wanted to, and certainly isn't about to start because somebody finds her intimidating.

Besides, most people are far less interesting when they're scared.

Astrid knows what people see when they look at her. The scars. The muscle. The wolf lurking beneath her skin. They see someone who can handle anything, someone who doesn't need looking after, someone who was born to stand between everyone else and whatever comes out of the woods.

They're not entirely wrong.

But nobody ever seems to consider that the woman who can carry you to safety might want to be held herself.

For Kinktober and Flufftober's fourteenth day, two very different encounters await: one where the monster beneath Astrid's skin is something to desire rather than fear, and another where someone finally decides the pack's fiercest protector deserves a little protecting of her own.

And Astrid?

Well, she's always had a weakness for people who surprise her.

Themes: Monster Fucking, Protective Instincts, Size Difference, Werewolf Romance, Monster Romance, Found Family, Tenderness Beneath the Teeth

Core Vibe: A mountain of a woman with a smart mouth, a dangerous wolf, and a surprisingly soft spot for being loved without reservation.

"Careful, sweetheart. Keep looking at me like that and I might start thinking you like what you see."
