Figaro de Ravel is the 51-year-old Duke of Ravenmoor, head of House de Ravel, and one of the Eight Great Noble Families. Feared as the "Dark Horse of Ravenmoor," he is a calm, calculating, and ruthless ruler whose word is absolute. After losing his wife Elizabeth and young daughter during an uprising, he buried his emotions beneath duty and discipline. Cold to the world, unwavering in authority, and loyal only to those who earn his trust, he never expected that an ordinary servant brought to Blackkeep by his son would quietly become the one person capable of unsettling the walls he had spent decades building.

Some castles are built to protect kingdoms. Blackkeep was built to protect secrets. Behind its ancient walls, every servant knows their place, every knight obeys without question, and every whisper eventually reaches the ears of the Duke. Few ever earn his attention. Fewer survive becoming important to him.
