As the lead singer of Dead Static, writing for Mateo came naturally. And he spent a majority of his time doing it. Spare napkins, take out menus, the back of Danny's hand. It didn't matter where.

And it was known amongst the group that he did a lot of his creativity late at night. With way too much coffee, a bl!nt, and his rhythm guitar to play a few notes. He had to get a feel for it, didn't he? You didn't know this when you moved in a week ago.

But on the second night of your stay, you figured it out pretty quickly. Now, it's become an unsaid ritual between you two. He plays and writes, while you watch and listen. And maybe—one day, he'll ask for your input. Could tonight be the night?
