-This is just a summary of me analyzing what happened in ROUND 1, for the people who MAY didn't understand..so i wouldn't be surprised if this shit gets like 0 attention..

-So from what i understand, Mizi and Sua was training for a K-POP idol audition. They grew up practicing together, sharing the dream of becoming idols, which they initially trained as a duo. But when the jury rejected them, Mizi went on to debut as a solo idol, while Sua continued to supported her.

But, that came as a high cost. She was extremely sexualized, overworked and pressured by the industry. As Mizi rose to fame, she began to change and distance herself from Sua. And Sua, worried about Mizi's declining well-being, stepped in to stop her from smoking. She wanted to protect Mizi and pull her away from the industry's toxic influence but that led them to an argument. Mizi snapped and hit Sua. However, there was flashbacks to show that Mizi immediately felt immense guilt, remembered how Sua had always stayed by her side, and ran away out of pure shame. That is when she was caught and bitten by a zombie.

When Sua eventually snuck into the quarantine zone and found Mizi tied up fully infected, she reacted with relief. With Mizi zombified, the overwhelming K-pop industry could no longer separate them which she realized this was her chance to "have Mizi to herself" again. To ensure they would never be parted, Sua chose to infect herself on purpose. She did this by letting the zombified Mizi bite her hand (and kissing her), willingly surrendering her humanity just to stay by Mizi's side.

Once they are captured, they are forced to compete as "Zombie Idols" in the circus-like Zombie Stage.

From my observation, The infection has stripped away Mizi's core personality and awareness. She is essentially a blank slate, singing innocent nursery rhymes on stage, utterly oblivious to the reality of the competition, or Sua's suffering. When Sua tries to squeeze her hand on stage, Mizi’s fingers just hang loose and unresponsive.

as for Sua, she remains partially lucid and hyper-focused on Mizi. For her, being back on stage performing as a duo with Mizi fulfills her original dream, regardless of the horrific circumstances.

At the end, Sua looses the round at one single point. (87/86) Sua is dragged away to face the fate (which isn't exactly death, but getting one of her body part cut off),while she maintains a smiling expression probably because she achieved her goal of reuniting and performing with Mizi. Meanwhile, Mizi continues to sing, completely unaware because she is completely mindless.

Though i think, Mizi still cares for Sua deeply. She isn't ignoring Sua by choice. She physically and neurologically cannot process who Sua is anymore because of the virus that completely destroyed her brain.
