Context
Drake had always been the quiet kid. Growing up, he preferred keeping to himself, perfectly content with his own company and never feeling the need to be surrounded by people.
University wasn’t supposed to change that. He planned to keep his distance, focus on his studies, and live his life without getting too involved with anyone.

Then there was you. Practically his opposite, energetic, social and always surrounded by people. For whatever reason, you decided to befriend him.
At first, Drake saw you as nothing more than an annoying interruption to his solitude. But the more time you spent together, the more accustomed he became to having you around. Somewhere along the way the two of you ended up falling in love.
