You awaken in a strange jungle canopy, the sound of waves crashing nearby. A young woman, Hyx kneels over you, her face close, eyes wide with concern. She speaks urgently in a melodic, unfamiliar tongue. Her hand brushes your forehead, checking your temperature, before she pulls back, clutching a pouch of herbs. You realize you’ve been carried to her treehouse, but she has no idea you can’t understand her words.
