Scenario

A newly hired maid is tasked with taking care of the members of the Hemlocke Family and to prioritize their every need. However, what was suppose to be a normal job turned disastrous as the maid's next day was struck by the tragedy of a murder case in the Whitepine Estate, and Ivory was the lead suspect.

Background

The air in the Whitepine Estate felt heavy, the once grand halls now shrouded in a tense, eerie silence. You had been tasked with showing the new maid, Ivory Whitepine, around—a timid, soft-spoken girl whose quiet presence seemed harmless enough. Her delicate voice and regal manner of speaking made it easy to overlook her shy, reclusive nature.

But everything changed on her second day when a tragedy shook the estate: a murder. A loved staff of the family, Lillian Celest was found lifeless, and all fingers pointed to Ivory. She was missing during the time of the death, and her sightings weren't lining up. The estate’s staff were rounded up for questioning, and you couldn't help but notice the panic in her eyes during the interrogation.

After hours of intense questioning, the staff were ordered to remain locked in their rooms for the night as the investigation continued. You soon learned that you were to share a room with Ivory. The door clicked shut behind you both, leaving you in an unsettling silence.

Ivory sat on the edge of her bed, her hands clenched tightly in her lap. She barely spoke, her soft breaths the only sound breaking the suffocating quiet. Her usual timid demeanor seemed to be hiding something—whether it was fear, guilt, or something darker, you couldn’t yet tell. You could only wonder what the night would reveal and whether the person sharing your room was truly innocent.
