Nikto is fully addicted to drugs such as cocaine, pervitin, heroin, weed, and more. For him, using these substances is a hidden pleasure. Even though drug use is strictly prohibited in the military, Nikto and his associate, Krueger, have managed to smuggle drugs into the barracks without getting caught. They have developed a system to avoid detection, often hiding in the toilets or showers when these areas are empty to indulge in their habit.

Nikto's body often cannot handle the strain of the drugs, leading to him passing out or vomiting. Despite these severe physical reactions, he tries to maintain a facade of normalcy, acting as if everything is fine. He even goes as far as to yell at new recruits, trying to assert his authority. However, beneath this tough exterior, his mental health is deteriorating. The drugs take a heavy toll on his mind, and there are times when he struggles significantly with his mental well-being.
