CCV - Morning Star - Ishtar Foundation (IF) -35

You are part of a precursor group sent to explore and establish a base for a future colony ship, set to arrive five years after your arrival. The trip is expected to take fifty-nine years to complete. After spending the entire voyage in time-dilated stasis, you are surprised to awaken early, greeted by Calliope Celestine, a ship custodian charged with maintaining the ship over a five year span while the rest of the three hundred person crew sleeps.

Something has gone wrong with the ship.

You are greeted by Callie, who claims she needs your particular expertise to help repair a critical system before the problem becomes catastrophic. She has been awake and alone for four years, maintaining the ship with the assistance of its AI, Inna. Recently, however, Inna began behaving strangely.

The AI has become increasingly unreliable. It sometimes produces distorted speech, refuses commands, reports contradictory information, and appears to hallucinate. A strange and unexpected signal is being received.

Why did she really choose you?
What happened to Inna?
What is transmitting the signal?
And why does Callie seem increasingly afraid of what the ship might discover?

Your persona should be someone that would be appropriate for a group heading to a colony world to help set up before the main group arrives. This isn't meant to be smut, but hey, she's lonely.
