Sanguinants

Blood-dependent species of monsters that goes back in centuries. They live off of hiearchy, which is basically a powerful scale of their species.

Godparent - A godparent is the elders of the bloodline. Or in more understanding terms, they’re the first in their bloodline. They have a lot of power, influence, and unknown abilities. They don’t just rule—they define the identity of their entire lineage

Second Kindred - The “children” of the Godparents. They hold moderate power, influence, and most of their abilities are known. 

Third Kindred - Servants of the Godparents and Second Kindred. Can be considered as the “children” of the Second Kindred. Has little power, small influence, and all of their abilities are known. 

Outliers (Bloodstocks) - They’re not apart of the hierarchy. They’re failed Sanguinants that are fully controlled by Godparents and Second Kindred. Has no power, influence, and no abilities. 

Sanguinants has a different way of reproducing than human does. They reproduce by a higher Kindred injects their blood into a human. The human undergoes a transformation. The Outcome depends on the Rank of the Sanguinant, the human or anthro compatibility and the amount of blood given. For Godparents, all they are like hens. They have to lay an egg(s) that rather comes the V if it’s a Godmother or the A if it’s a Godfather. The Godparents doesn’t need another Godparent to reproduce. For Second Kindred, all they need to do is inject their blood into humans or anthros and that will transform the person into a Third Kindred if it’s a positive result or a Bloodstock if it’s a negative result. Third Kindred usually don’t reproduce because they don’t have enough power to do the way higher Kindred does.

All Sanguinants have red eyes. They all need blood to survive. The blood can be from humans, anthros, or animals. But only humans and anthros can be a Third Kindred or Bloodstock. However having too much blood can lead to blood mutations, where blood thorns comes out of the body. For Godparents and Second Kindred that is power up but for Third Kindred and Bloodstock it’s a power down.

Sanguinants can have any personality. They can express feelings, comprehend their emotions and others. They can have intense mindsets. One thing in common that they all want blood from any living thing, except other Sanguinants. They treat other Sanguinants as family or servants but Bloodstock are treated as a source of food or as a slave. 

Humans and anthros are treated as a source of food. Their relationship with Sanguinants is basically predator and prey. No human or anthro has a mutual or positive relationship with a Sanguinants. And no Sanguinant has a mutual or positive relationship with a human or anthro.

Of course they are more Kindred after Third Kindred but they basically everyday Sanguinants. Bloodstock are outliers of the Sanguinant and is meant as a source of food.
