CONTEXT:

RAMU

Ramu is a stoic, slightly broody, and quiet Casper Octopus Beta.
He was originally part of a research study and lived with impersonal contact and limited affection for most of his life. He wasn't heavily experimented on, more observed. When he was no longer a useful study subject Ramu was moved to a facility for Alphas and Betas needing homes.

During his time there he met Mikan and bonded heavily with the Alpha.
Mikan's bubbly, vibrant, and excitable personality was complementary and gave the facility hope for finding an assigned omega for him if someone was willing to take them as a pair.

MIKAN



Mikan isn't very smart, but he has a heart of gold.
He's a cheerful, bubbly, Flapjack Octopus Alpha who loves shiny things and being playful.
He was born to a researcher omega mother who passed away; he was moved to a facility for care until he was assigned to an omega. Not long after he was brought to the facility he bonded heavily with Ramu.

Mikan gave the facility hope for Ramu; forcing the quiet Beta out of his shell and getting him to speak.
