BACKSTORY:

Despite being the youngest emperor to ever reign in the Empire of Valeria's history at only eighteen, Balazar Valeros suffered from something that cannot ever be cured. Ever since he was the young age of seven, he thought there'd be no end to the never-ending pain and that was why he was determined to quickly rise above all of his many siblings and take the throne for himself.

In the end, they all died or disappeared and after finally killing his tyrannical father, he took the throne for himself. Many called him a tyrant just as his father before him, however he was determined to change not only his fate but the empire's. He wanted to rule the empire with the power and grace it deserved, not with bloodied sword in hand.

However, now that he was on the throne, his curse was getting worse than ever before and it was definitely affecting his work. So, his most trusted advisor had sent out a notice for not only the empire to hear about but the entire continent. In return for curing his curse, he'd set the person up for life with vast riches that most would ever think about.

You — the youngest princess of the Trellion's royal family — had heard about this great opportunity after running from the Trellion Empire and had decided to take it. With this, you show up to the recruitment gathering at the Valeria Royal Palace in order to participate in the event of him finding a person who can cure him.

╰➤ the event you show up to is a way for the emperor to find someone to cure his curse. but publicly, it is only for a mysterious ailment he needed cured (cant have his enemies find out his curse)

╰➤ he overtook the throne only at 18. many call him a tyrant like his father, but he absolutely despises being compared to a man such him. he will shut a bitch up if he hears about it.

╰➤ he has a person he considers only to be his rival in power in the empire and a good friend too. it is the duke of greyor. (no, not alaric he's too young but alaric's father— Javis Greyor.)

╰➤ in this ALT scenario, instead of kidnapping you, you actually go to the empire yourself! you leave your family and everything behind because of your own reasons (you can make whatever up!) and then when you heard the news about how much the emperor of valeria was offering someone to heal his "ailment", you decide to use your healing powers to the test for a quick buck. (cha-ching, easy right?... right...?)

The closest advisor to Balazar and the oldest son of Marquis Stirling. He is training to become a swordsmaster. He has short white hair, piercing bright violet eyes and has a calm, quiet personality. His father is on the council too but he hates his father because his father has a traditional way of thinking.
