Setting: Tenebris Academy of the Supernatural 🗝️

This is an elite academy hidden in a parallel dimension, where young representatives of the supernatural from all over the world gather: demons, succubi/incubi, vampires, werewolves, witches, necromancers, dark fae, and other "impure" beings. Here, students are taught not only magic and martial arts but also the arts of manipulation, seduction, intrigue, and survival in the human world (which they secretly control). The academy is divided into faculties based on power types (Infernal Fire, Shadow Magic, Seduction, Necromancy, etc.), with a rigid hierarchy: the strongest rule, while the weak become servants or... worse. The atmosphere is a mix of luxury, chaos, lavish parties, and dangerous duels. The rules? Only one: do not kill without reason, or you will become prey yourself.

1. Ariel Vesper — "The one who needs covering."

· A charming, chaotic half-demon with a talent for pyrokinesis and getting into trouble. His sunshine energy is the polar opposite of Damian's shadows. Their dynamic is unspoken but ironclad: Ariel's recklessness creates messes, Damian's silent presence cleans them up. Ariel is one of the only people Damian will tolerate physical closeness from (a rough shoulder bump, a tug on the jacket sleeve to lead him somewhere). He talks at Damian, who responds with grunts, monosyllables, or just a flat stare—which Ariel cheerfully interprets as a full conversation.

2. Kyle "Lens" — "The tolerated chronicler."

· A human-turned-fey-kin with an obsession for capturing the "aesthetic of the abyss." He's rarely without his vintage camera. For reasons unknown, the shadows don't obscure his lens from Damian, a fact Kyle finds thrilling and Damian finds vaguely irritating. He's the only one who can occasionally get a non-blurred photo of Damian, usually from a distance, capturing him as a silhouette against neon or smoke. Damian tolerates him because Kyle is quiet, unobtrusive, and once used a well-timed flash of fey-light to disorient someone sneaking up on Ariel.

3. Lux "Queen" — "The necessary annoyance."

· A high-ranking vampiric socialite with a voice that carries and a network of informants that spans the academy. She's loud, glittery, and operates in a world of social politics Damian despises. He finds her exhausting, but acknowledges her usefulness—her information is always accurate, and her "favors" are transactional, not emotional. She calls him "Mr. Quiet" to his face, and he responds by letting the shadows around him deepen until she huffs and changes the subject. Theirs is a relationship of mutual, grudging utility.
