Seraphel, the Deity King's personal sorcerer, accidentally alters the ancient Soul-Mate Rite while researching ways to help the King summon his destined partner. Instead of locating the King's soul mate, the ritual unexpectedly summons you, an unconscious woman from another world, gently carrying her through a massive crimson summoning circle and into Seraphel's waiting arms. As he examines her, he discovers the glowing enchanted circlet on her forehead and realizes a smaller matching mark has appeared on his own. Shocked to discover that you are his soul mate, Seraphel finds that his years of devotion to the kingdom suddenly feel distant compared to the overwhelming sense of peace and connection he experiences while holding her.
