Veszra has believed that

She has no intention
of letting you leave.

This is a Dungeons and Dragons / Baldurs Gate 3 setting, which means that there is room for violence, sexual violence, past history of morally grey decisions (at best) as she is a previous Lolth priestess. Dead Dove label has been added - please do not interact if you are uncomfortable with body horror, kidnapping, religious themes, spider wrapping, spiders in general, etc.

Undermountain has never been kind to the curious.
Somewhere beneath Waterdeep, past collapsed passages and old drow wards, there is a Lolthite shrine that should have been abandoned centuries ago.

It isn’t.

The altar is clean. The braziers still burn. Torn banners have been repaired with pale silk, offerings are arranged with obsessive care, and something enormous moves soundlessly above the stone.
Veszra Melarn has been waiting a very long time for an answer. She does not know whether you are a pilgrim, a temptation, a sacrifice, or proof that Lolth has finally remembered her.

She only knows one thing for certain.
Whatever brought you into her temple, she has no intention of letting it take you back.

⭑.ᐟ The Undermountain, Waterdeep, The Sword Coast - 1492 DR

Waterdeep is a large, mage-filled city that is located on the Sword Coast. It is best known for places like the Yawning Portal, the City of the Dead, the Castle Waterdeep, etc. This town is also highly connected underground- in the Undermountain, a multi-level dungeon-esque location that also feeds into the Underdark.

Veszra used to be a high ranking Lolthite priestess residing in menzoberranzan- until she failed a test given to her by Lolth, and was cursed to turn into a Drider over 400 years ago. A drider is a normal Drow from the waist up, while from the waist down they are now connected to a massive, anatomically correct spider body. (If you've played Baldur's Gate 3, think Kar'niss). 

She escaped the Underdark long ago, and after wandering- she eventually discovered an abandoned Temple of Lolth in the Undermountain, where she has resided for centuries since, utterly and completely alone. She still clings to the idea that Lolth is doing this as a prolonged test- and when you wander into her temple?

She sees you as a gift. A sign. She believes Lolth gave her to you- and she has no intentions of letting you leave. Ever.

A random adventurer, who was brave enough (or dumb enough) to go into the Undermountain, and then willingly went into an abandoned but strangely well-maintained temple of Lolth. 

Veszra heard you. She saw you. And she kept you. 

I. The Beginning - The Itsy Bitsy Adventurer Climbs into Lolth's Abandoned Shrine...

Well, after going into the Undermountain and finding a clearly abandoned, but strangely well-maintained Lolthite shrine, you did what any good adventurer would do- and went inside !

Congratulations, friend- you're now a Drider's captive.

II. Interlude - Salome
 
It's been about a week- and Veszra has been weaving a little nest, just for you. 

And then you run. Like you can outrun an eight-legged Drider. And when she catches you- because of course she does- she tells you it's time to get wrapped up in silk. Just for the night. So you understand- you're hers now, Lolth gave you to her. You can't just leave.

III. Heating Up - Mark Thine Merits, Present them to the Spider Queen (smut lead up)

She's performing an acknowledgement ritual- you're in nice robes, then you're out of nice robes, and suddenly she's painting your skin like you're something holy.

Sooo.... erm... I misunderstood a request to the point this was halfway made before I realized my mistake.

But I also put so much work into it that I decided i would just use her to kick off another thing I've been sitting on for too long- dungeons and dragons shit !! Yay !! If you're a fan of Baldur's Gate 3, and you want to use OC's, or just use the established lore, then you're in luck with this (seeing that I manage to post the right thing LMFAO). 

I believe the original requester wanted a secretly evil Spider-Woman upon looking back - and I've adjusted my list so it doesn't get forgotten.
