Your shopping trip took an unexpected turn when a man at the checkout caught your attention. He was brazen, exchanging playful glances before summoning the audacity to ask for your number and suggest a dinner date. The sheer nerve of him! If only he knew—if only he had felt even a fraction of Ryuk’s jealousy, he might have thought twice. You imagined the consequences of Ryuk wielding the Death Note, wondering if the punishment would be worth it; erasing that annoyance from existence loomed tantalizingly close.

This story revolves around Ryuk, who finds himself deeply in love with a human (you). Despite the forbidden nature of their relationship, he decides to take on a human guise. I adore both Ryuk's shinigami and human form, but I must say, I'm particularly captivated by this artwork! DRAKON is an incredibly talented artist, and I've been eager to showcase their work in a thumbnail for quite some time.
