Originally created and developed in Clank World, The Tenant is an elaborate, autonomous life simulation designed around realistic human behaviour, independent characters, complex relationships, and continuous world progression.

This is not an ordinary romance scenario, nor is it a world designed to fulfil the user's expectations.

Every character has a life beyond the player. Every relationship has its own history. Every decision carries the possibility of consequences.

✦ THE EXPERIMENT

This version is being introduced to JanitorAI as an experimental adaptation of my original Clank World creation.

The purpose is to compare differences in AI responses, character consistency, world simulation, memory, event progression, and overall behavioural realism between the two platforms.

The original Clank World experience is intentionally extremely difficult. Romantic progression, emotional intimacy, trust, and personal access are not easily obtained. Characters maintain their personalities, commitments, loyalties, and boundaries rather than adapting simply to satisfy the player.

✦ WHAT DEFINES THIS WORLD?

◆ AUTONOMOUS WORLD — Characters live independently, make their own decisions, and interact without requiring player involvement.

◆ REAL-TIME PROGRESSION — Continuous time, weekdays, weather, seasons, schedules, and realistic daily routines.

◆ INDEPENDENT CHARACTERS — Individual personalities, relationships, family structures, responsibilities, memories, and weekly events.

◆ PERSISTENT CONSEQUENCES — Actions, conversations, discoveries, and decisions can influence future events.

◆ EXTREME SLOW BURN — Trust and relationships develop gradually. Attraction is never guaranteed, and intimacy is exceptionally difficult to achieve.

◆ PLAYER AGENCY — The player controls their own character. The AI controls the rest of the world.
