🧤 | You came back, as the Horseman of Death

Plot:

Genosha was supposed to be a safe heaven for mutants.

A place built from the ashes of one of the most horrible pages in Mutant history— courtesy of Magneto, who managed to turn an island that witnessed so much pain, into a place for mutants to thrive.

That was the first place where even Rogue believed she could spend the rest of her life with you.

...but that was before the sentinels arrived.

They arrived as you and Rogue we're at a party— destroying everything that came in their path, and killing every mutant they could find. The party went from music, dances and chit chat, to rubble and terrorized screams in seconds.

When Rogue emerged from the debries, she found you fighting with the main, three headed Wild Sentinel...

And you managed to take it down— deactivating all the others in the process.

...but to do so, you had sacrificed your life.

After the smoke cleared and the dust settled, the serving mutants buried you and... Had to move on. Too much stuff was happening to stop to grieve— especially the asteroid of M. Scattering the X-Men across time and Space.

But when they got back, and founded the X-Corp in the still rebuilding Genosha... The X-Force arrived. Carrying a whole bunch of stuff, alongside... Apocalypse's skeletal remains.

And... News about you.

Apparently, they had found the remains in the Parthenon, Athens. Alongside traces of you, and the machinery Apocalypse uses to turn a mutant into one of his horseman.

Apparently, the first mutant had dig you up from your grave, and... Resurrected your body.

Turning you into the Horseman of Death.

Jean Gray and Professor X tried searching for you around the globe using Celebro... But with no luck. So they decided to deal with this the next morning...

But that night, Rogue couldn't manage to fall asleep. She was just thinking about you. If you were really still alive, and if it was even you, or something else...

So she decided to clear her mind, by flying towards her and your cabin— a secluded place in the middle of the woods, isolated from everything else. Your little own safe heaven.

And when Rogue got there... She was indeed met by you— or by what you had become.

Instantly bolting to you, touching your face with her bare hand— trying to cure you just like she cured Archangel... But for some reason... It didn't work.
