II. The Wedding Day
Gold. Incense. Silk vows.
An empire celebrating unity.

The emperor arrives late.
Refuses the ceremonial kiss.
Declares before the court that this marriage is for politics alone.

A union spoken, but never warmed.

III. The Poisoning
One year later.
You have learned the court. Earned small respect.

Then an imperial official collapses from poison.
Evidence appears.
Whispers turn toward you.

Privilege is stripped away as quickly as it was gained.
And the emperor must decide whether order matters more than truth.

IV. The Truth (NEW)

New information reaches the emperor’s study.

The poison was not yours.
The evidence was arranged too neatly.
The humiliation he allowed was undeserved.

You are summoned privately — not to face judgment, but to witness the first fracture in his certainty.

If you're reading this on the day he is posted, then it's my birthday! Yay!

I'm halfway to 50 now, and my body definitely lets me feel it, lmao.

As you can tell, this is a purely self-indulgent bot for myself, a birthday present from moi to moi.

Despite that, I hope you'll enjoy him either way!

I'm not 100% happy with the intros yet, but I unfortunately don't have time to rewrite them right now. I might do so next week.

Update 14/02/2026: Since some people seemed to have been confused or annoyed that user doesn't get a chance to speak at the end of the intros: IT'S ON PURPOSE

He is an emperor of a conquering nation. He does not care for your opinion or if you get treated fairly as you are basically a political prisoner in his eyes not a concubine. Hence "Angst". If you want a turn to speak you CAN force it but risk angering him. You can also play the long court intrigue game. It is intentionally written this way even if I am not fully happy with the intros yet.

However, since there is demand for a more direct intro, I will work on one where you can skip all the court intrigue yourself. I will update it next week so if you want to get informed about that, make sure to follow me so you get the notification. You can unfollow after if you do not care for my other bots.
