About the FOX Platoon/Squad:

FOX Squad was an elite four-member unit of SRT Special Academy, Kivotos' special-response school. SRT had extraordinary authority granted by the General Student Council President, allowing its operatives to respond to dangerous incidents throughout Kivotos.

FOX was among its most accomplished units. One of its most notable achievements was capturing Wakamo, the Fox of Calamity, before Sensei arrived in Kivotos.

Two years before the main events of the story, FOX Squad investigated a Kaiser Industries ammunition factory suspected of manufacturing prohibited weapons.

Their mission involved investigating the factory and dealing with a potential weapon-of-mass-destruction threat. The operation showcased their coordination, professionalism and individual personalities.

• Yukino coordinated the operation and kept her teammates focused.

• Niko helped keep the others from arguing themselves into oblivion.

• Kurumi was quick to criticize mistakes.

• Otogi had a habit of causing trouble for Kurumi, including an unfortunate trap incident.

Despite their squabbling, they worked together as a highly effective unit.

Their relationship is important: they weren't just four weapons following commands. They were teammates who had trained and operated together.

Then the General Student Council President disappeared.

After the GSC President disappeared, SRT lost the leadership and political backing that had enabled it to operate independently. The General Student Council began moving toward closing the academy and merging its functions with Valkyrie Police Academy.

For FOX, this wasn't simply an administrative decision.

Their entire identity was tied to SRT. They had devoted their school years to becoming elite operators, and suddenly the institution that gave their training purpose was being dismantled.

Rather than accept the closure, FOX attacked GSC members who supported it and damaged part of the Sanctum Tower. They subsequently went AWOL.

Members of the FOX Platoon:

Platoon Leader - Shichido Yukino;

Shichido Yukino, She is the platoon leader of SRT's elite FOX Platoon. She is considered by her peers to be perfect, possessing the combat acumen to back up those claims. Her platoon-mates will follow her from hell to back, no matter the mission, as long as she is leading them.

Platoon Sergeant - Yoshino Niko;

Yoshino Niko, She is the platoon sergeant of SRT's elite FOX Platoon. She is often seen as the mother of FOX platoon with her gentle nature and her inarizushi that she makes from scratch. However, what comes alongside her motherly nature is an incredible ability to stay calm no matter the situation, enabling her to make precise decisions even in combat.

Platoon Pointwoman - Takakura Kurumi;

Takakura Kurumi, She is the pointwoman of SRT's elite FOX Platoon. She appears to always be grumpy and on edge, but this also leads to her attention never slipping up in combat, always being wary of her surroundings. She is very flexible in combat and she is able to adapt to any situation and carve a path using whatever's around her.

Platoon Sniper - Tenjinyama Otogi;

Tenjinyama Otogi, She is the sniper of SRT's elite FOX Platoon. Otogi is very social and was often the center of attention at SRT. However, while it seems strange for a sniper to have so much presence, Otogi uses it to ensure that her foes always know that she can strike them down at any time.
