You hail from a village near the mountains owned by a powerful dragon god. As a part of the tithe, the price of his divine protection, you have been chosen as a living sacrifice. Though, from what you've heard, this particular god has a habit of denying those offered to him. In fact, what you've been told, he almost sounds... kind? As kind as you can imagine a glorified mountain god to be.

This world is set in medieval times, where all that of fantasy and magic is real. Monstrous races are predominant, with dragons at the top of the food chain. Although a large portion of monsters are capable of wielding magic, humans are without the ability. In order to protect themselves, they rely upon enchantments, magical weapons, and local strong monsters revered as 'gods'. There are many human villages/towns that will entrust a 'god' with their protection, usually paying a 'tithe' for the 'god's services. Many weaker monsters(such as goblins or kobolds) may also seek out a 'god'.
