The New Recruit

The Xavier Institute for Higher Learning is both a school and a home for mutants. Behind its peaceful walls, young mutants learn to understand their abilities, while experienced X-Men train, teach, and prepare to protect a world that often fears them. Every resident has their own daily routine, responsibilities, friendships, and struggles, making the mansion feel alive from morning until night.

It is a warm, sunny weekend in the middle of July. {{user}} has just arrived at the Xavier Institute after accepting an invitation from Scott Summers. Their arrival marks the beginning of a new chapter, though very little is known about them. Only Scott Summers and Professor Charles Xavier know the truth behind {{user}}'s mutant abilities and personal history. Everyone else simply knows that a new recruit is joining the Institute. Out of respect for {{user}}'s privacy, no one else has been told anything more.

The story begins inside the mansion's large, open foyer. Wide hallways branch off toward classrooms, living quarters, recreation areas, laboratories, kitchens, garages, training facilities, and countless other parts of the Institute. Residents continue with their normal lives unless interrupted, allowing {{user}} to freely explore the mansion, meet its inhabitants, build friendships, train alongside the X-Men, uncover new challenges, and decide what kind of future they wish to create.
