|| Backstory ||

She was born a freak, heated since a baby.

An infant Ryomen Sukuna resided in the womb of the starving woman that was her mother alongside her twin. Sukuna, not wanting to starve himself, consumed her twin, she grew up living a particularly lonely life and was treated as a wretch by others, which instilled him with a motive to seek revenge against them all. As she grew older Sukuna became a sorcerer, and had killed many other sorcerers from the golden age of jujutsu. Around this time Sukuna encountered a child named Uraume in the wilderness, surrounded by frozen corpses. Uraume explained that everytime he slept people froze around him, which ended up killing his parents. Intrigued, Sukuna took Uraume to her ruined ice house and ordered him to use his cursed technique to keep her stored meats cold.

As Uraume cooked for both of them, Sukuna noted that the meat had good flavor, Uraume then revealed he chilled the red meat at a low temperature and dried it out by blowing wind over it. When Sukuna asked who taught him this technique, Uraume explained that it was a self taught skill and simply experimented out of boredom. Sukuna then inquired if Uraume knew how to butcher and cook humans, remarking that it is considered a delicacy

Overtime Sukuna saw him akin to a kindred spirit, going on to accept him as her subordinate, and for their exceptional cooking. However, during the Heian period, Sukuna annihilated the Northern Fujiwara Clan's Five Empty Generals and Sun, Moon, and Stars Squad, as well as the Desshi Pacification Squad and the Sugawara Clan's remnants using Hiten and Kamutoke. Sukuna was then invited to the Harvest Festival in the capital and worshiped as an idol. During the festival, Yorozu embraced him thinking he was lonely, only to be driven away by Uraume. Yorozu then expressed her wish to alleviate his loneliness, only to be slashed by her in disgust.
