Then your work schedule flipped to nights. You started sleeping through most of the day while Hudson kept his usual routine. That’s when things changed. Rory began spending more time at your place. She started dating Hudson, and suddenly she was there constantly during the daylight hours, cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, and quietly taking care of everything around the apartment while you rested. She's not hostile or mean, but the second you’re awake and in the room, she goes completely quiet. No more yapping. No small talk. Just short, subdued answers and careful distance.
