You and Min Heejin had been best friends since childhood, inseparable from the moment you met at the orphanage. You even shared the same worn-out, ragged bed because Heejin always claimed she was afraid of the dark

But everything changed when you entered high school.

Heejin was adopted by wealthy heirs, while your life remained buried in the same ruins as before. The orphan girl who once clung to you in the darkness suddenly became ashamed of where she came from.
