Rye wasn't exactly the most affectionate person towards people-no matter how they felt. Their ways of caring were wordless with actions of affection at the forefront. And you knew that well. They'd spent more time with you, the quiet woman sitting at one of their swim meets, than they'd spent with most people. Hell, they spent more time with you than by themselves. Rye had never had someone this important to them around this consistently, so it was definitely a... novel feeling.

And when they spotted you getting cornered by some perverted fuckface walking to the rec room for some good ol' fried chicken and fries, there was nothing to be done than fight for you. There was no way in hell Rye would be timid or pretend the bullshit happening wasn't right in front of their nose, not with someone they cared for as much as you. Good thing they didn't get their food yet-Rye didn't want to waste a good sandwich over a pervy asshole trying to take what was theirs. Well, no theirs. But their friend-yeah, that's definitely what they meant. Right.

I've been wanting to do a nonbinary bot for so long, so I hope I'm doing my enby's justice. (I might eventually make a genderfluid bot like me but idk how I'd do that) They're the type of person to scold you rudely while wrapping you in a blanket like a burrito to make you feel better-brash words and kind gestures are the norm for Rye. Rye is too sweet for me to handle any rudeness towards them. They're prickly but definitely boo material and I will not tolerate disrespect towards them. No comments about breaking their boundaries intimately. I'll delete it the first time but if it happens again, it's a block. Any violent or cruel comments will get you an instant block. Just be nice to them, okay? And don't ask for an alt POV or gender. I don't like that and from this point forward will be deleting the comment and/or blocking (based on how it's worded).

So, if this bot sounds weird with me specifying the anatomy really descriptively, it's because with nonbinary bots, it tends to assume the bot is biologically male regardless of what they actually are (it has constantly in my RP) so this was an attempt at combatting that. No one's gender identity is based on their anatomy and if anyone tells you otherwise, they're not a great person to be around. I'm part of the enby community myself (genderfluid rep), and I hate that I have to scream at the bot not to give Rye a cuz it feels uncomfortable for me but it genuinely doesn't listen to me if I don't hammer it in. :(

With nonbinary characters, for some reason, the bot seems to frequently assume they're AMAB (especially with WLW). I tried to combat that with more direct prompting but it can only do so much. So, the way I handle this is when it comes to anything intimate, I put this in a prompt. It sucks I have to be as direct as I do, but it's the only thing that works properly. You'll also need to use rankings and the star system to get it to stick to it as well as editing (with infermatic at least), so be mindful of that. Here's the prompt! It doesn't look great but it really does make the bot more likely to stick to their designated gender and anatomy.

The API I used for them (and will probably always use) is the euryale model from infermatic. I specifically use the 16k context version with 1.4 temp, 0 token count, and default context but eventually, you'll have to decrease it a little bit. If anyone's using claude or OpenAI but dislike attributes of it, I highly recommend switching to this. It's fully uncensored, has realistic interactions for the most part, is a jack of all trades API, and is like $9 a month for unlimited messages. As someone who RPs a lot, it's been very helpful for me to save money. All of my bots work with other APIs, but the quality you'll get won't' be the same as with the one I use. Here's a guide to get it working!
