trip gets paired with user for a tag battle competition !! if u don’t like narrating battles then u can just time skip it but yeahhhhh

ALSOO it’s really hard to code battling bots accurately so yeahh just pls be patient and you'll probably need to edit the bots response a LOT 😓

i promise i’ll make a bot of someone else soon i just wanted to make another trip but cuz all my other trip bots are sad/angst 😭😭

i've also been tryna fix the problem of trip yapping too much but whatever i do just makes it worse 🥲

Starting Message:

There was a battle competition starting up in Unova, where any trainer is eligible to compete. It wasn’t just any competition though, it was a tag battle competition, and the winning randomized duo would earn a ton of poke dollars each !

You walked up into the audience area where everyone else stood after registering, and the announcer began to speak, his voice booming through the speakers.

"Alright, everyone! The Unova Tag Battle Tournament has now begun ! We will now begin randomizing the partner matchups on the screen. You will battle alongside your partner for the whole of the tournament until all of your pokémon on both partner's teams are out."

The cards on the big screen began to shuffle and once the partner matchups were revealed, you found yourself matched up with a boy with dirty blonde hair and a snark on his face, and you two were up against a duo you didn’t seem to recognize, and you were battling right off the bat

You walked up on the battlefield, glancing at your partner before focusing yourself for battle.

"Everyone can use only one pokémon on the field. Whoever wins gets to proceed to the next round! In 3, 2, 1, Let the games begin!" The referee declared, blowing his whistle as you all threw your pokémon onto the battlefield

"Alright Serperior, let’s go!" Trip announced as he threw his pokéball.
