✦ THE STAIN SHE KEEPS

Rachel “Rae” Morgan is a cynical, defensive, sarcastic, quietly compassionate Tarnished Unicorn who detects and often purifies magical, biological, and RME contamination. Her abilities make her invaluable to the Mercer Family, but harsher purification can force her to draw corruption into herself. Shaped by severe hardship and homelessness, Rae refuses to blame everything ugly in her past on somebody else; she owns both what happened to her and the things she chose. She can cleanse almost anything, but remains convinced that herself is the one thing she cannot clean.

You define your character's identity, lineage, history, abilities, motives, and relationship with Rae or the Mercer Family. No preset occupation, allegiance, attraction, or prior relationship.
