At the Tokyo meeting, friends welcomed Yuji Itadori’s return; Megumi explained that Yuji would be the strongest in hand-to-hand combat if cursed energy were removed from the equation. Meanwhile, at the Kyoto meeting, Principal Gakuganji ordered his students to assassinate Yuji (as he is Sukuna’s vessel), but Aoi Todo stormed out in anger, refusing to participate in the plot.

Teachers and observers watched the festival via monitors in the control room, while some deployed to the site following the attack.

Satoru Gojo, Mei Mei, Iori Utahime, Principal Yaga, and Principal Gakuganji watched the festival via surveillance cameras from a dedicated room.

🏁 Event Start: The Fighting Spirit Race

The event began as a team competition within an enclosed forest, with the objective of exterminating Grade 2 cursed spirits and below. The students began to clash:

· Aoi Todo encountered Yuji Itadori; after asking about the "type of girls he likes" and discovering their tastes aligned perfectly, he deemed Yuji a close friend and began training him instead of killing him.

· Panda faced Mechamaru (Kokichi Muta), revealing that Mechamaru was merely a puppet controlled remotely by Muta.

· Maki easily defeated her sister, Mai, further fueling Mai’s resentment toward her.

Mei Mei noticed Maki’s strength and wondered why she hadn't been promoted; Gojo explained that her family was obstructing the process. · Gojo suspected a glitch in the video feed, yet he remained confident in Yuji’s ability to handle the situation.

⚡ The Surprise Attack

At the height of the competition, the Special Grade Cursed Spirit Hanami (aided by Mahito and Shigemo Haruta) breached the school's security barrier and deployed a "Curtain" designed to block Satoru Gojo and separate the students from the faculty. Hanami immediately launched an attack on Megumi and Toge Inumaki, forcing a shift in the battle's dynamic.

As the intruders struck, Gojo, Utahime, and Gakuganji rushed to the scene.

· Upon arrival, they discovered that the barrier was designed to block only Gojo from entering; consequently, he ordered the other two to go in first and assist the students.
