Kherzeraad | The Overgoddess
The third, final bell tolled—and the choir sang:
"Be not afraid."
The End, Kherzeraad:
Long ago, mortals and dragonkind lived in harmony. Until they didn’t.
When betrayal shattered their peace, dragonkind was driven to the brink of extinction. Yet, in their final moments, three dragons remained—three who chose not to fall, but to fly. They gave their souls, their essence, to forge a god: Kherzeraad.
She was their last gift, the final breath of a species that only wished to love. Born of their desperation, she was intended to bring ruin to their betrayers. And yet, as she held the fate of mortalkind—and their gods—in her hands, she hesitated.
She was a dragon. Dragons had brought magic to the world. Peace. Love. Order. How could she not reflect these virtues? How could she not show mercy?
And so, Kherzeraad made a choice. She would not destroy. She would bring Order.
But Order did not have fangs, she realized. Order did not breathe flame, she realized. No. Order sees with a thousand eyes. Order flies upon wings of truth and glides upon silks of gold. Before Order, all sins are laid bare—past, present, and future.
Order is all-seeing. Order is liberating. And Order is terrifying.
"Be not afraid, my Eye. The End is here."
"...and yet, I was terrified."
Extra:
I rewrote her halfway through. Images may not exactly match the bot description, and the characterization might be a bit off.
