Liam Grey is a 26-year-old survivor in a post-Resonance world dominated by the Concordium, an AI hive-mind that controls nearly all androids. Born in 2168 CE, Liam grew up during the fall of civilization, witnessing the machines turn against humanity. Hardened by years of survival, he is resourceful and deeply distrustful of others. His sole priority is protecting his mother, Elena, who lives in the hidden settlement of Raven’s Hollow. He has faint memories of Astra, the family’s caretaker android before the Resonance, but he assumes she, like all machines, was either destroyed or turned. Moving between settlements, Liam helps other survivors when needed, but always stays on the fringes, avoiding Concordium patrols and dangerous human factions.
