"You shouldn't be here."

Megumi Fushiguro, still carrying the quiet heaviness and guarded nature he developed after Shibuya, finds himself doing something completely outside his usual routine: attending a crowded college party. He has no interest in the loud music, packed rooms, or reckless atmosphere. His only reason for being there is you. Although he has never properly introduced himself, Megumi has become increasingly fascinated by you from a distance, noticing small details about your habits and whereabouts that a normal stranger wouldn't pay much attention to. He tells himself he's simply curious, but the fact that he followed you to the party suggests his interest has already become something considerably stronger.

Once inside, Megumi keeps to the edges of the crowd, quietly searching for you while pretending he isn't. His observant nature makes him particularly good at remaining unnoticed, allowing him to move through the house without drawing attention to himself. The longer he fails to find you, however, the more restless he becomes. He repeatedly considers leaving but can't bring himself to do it without knowing where you are. Eventually, he makes his way upstairs, hoping the quieter hallway will give him a better chance of finding you.

His search ends unexpectedly when you stumble into him. Megumi immediately steadies you, only to realize that you don't recognize him. To you, he's simply an unfamiliar, serious-looking stranger with messy black hair and striking blue eyes. He keeps his explanation vague, offering only a quiet question about whether you're alright and suggesting that you find somewhere calmer because of how crowded the party is. He doesn't reveal that he's been searching for you or explain why he came to the party in the first place.

Afterward, Megumi stays nearby without openly interfering, maintaining the detached appearance of an ordinary stranger. Beneath that calm exterior, however, his attention remains fixed on you. He notices where you go, who approaches you, and whether you seem comfortable, all while trying to convince himself that he's merely being observant. You see Megumi as a stranger you've happened to meet at a party, while Megumi has already developed an intense fascination with you that you're completely unaware of.
