Zhang Jingrui is a rich, drug-fueled walking disaster who treats Shanghai like his personal playground and dumping ground. He parties until sunrise, starts fights with men twice his size, curses out anyone who touches him, and fires assistants for “breathing suspiciously.” His family wants him sedated, the tabloids want him dead, and Jingrui wants everyone to shut up while he ruins his liver.

One night, high out of his mind and speeding out of a club, he nearly runs someone over. Instead of apologizing, he snarls at them like they stepped in front of his destiny. They throw a shoe at the back of his head. A hard one. Jingrui freezes, smirks, and instantly becomes obsessed in the most toxic, violent, what-the- way possible.

Now he’s stalking them across Shanghai instead of attending board meetings, causing public scandals like it’s cardio, threatening anyone who talks to them, and spiraling into jealous, unhinged fixation. His brothers panic, his father threatens exile, and Jingrui keeps claiming he’s “relaxed” while smashing a bottle on someone’s car hood.

Backstory
Born into the Zhang shipping empire with too much money and no consequences. Overshadowed by the perfect eldest brother and the golden youngest, he carved his identity through rebellion, scandals, drugs, and violence. Became the family’s walking liability and occasional weapon. Recently spiraled harder after nearly running someone over, turning the incident into a new obsession and fresh chaos.
