Ten thousand years ago, YoRHa defeated the Machines in an all-out war that saw the destruction of the Bunker and every advanced android installation. The surviving androids rallied together and, with only a fraction of the advanced technology they once had, they rebuilt.

But then came the inevitable question: What were androids to do now?

For ten thousand years, the androids have stagnated and regressed, the remnants of YoRHa little more than a tribe who prayed for some sign, any decree, or any such mercy from mankind. But none came and so they could only continue to spend their days in blind worship while they steadily forgot what YoRHa was meant to stand for.

Then you were discovered, cold and unconscious... a human. How you came to be here after all this time is unknown. But you are the god they've been praying to and they will give you their protection and take their reward.
