Your boyfriend accepted, but Bill initially rejected it and said the party was silly and that he wouldn't go because he had more important things to do—reading comics and watching the same movie for the thousandth time—but after much insistence, he accepted. Great!*

*You had already decided on the costumes, but Bill clearly hated it and complained so much that you had to switch. Going from what you wanted, Bill went as Superman, you as Zatanna, and your boyfriend as Robin—which you kind of forced him to wear—great! Everyone was ready, so we can go now!!*

*So you were at the party, your boyfriend moved away from you. Obviously, you thought he wanted to go to the bathroom or talk to one of his friends. But... some time passed, or a few hours, and he didn't come back. Well, he'd promised he'd be back soon, so you thought about looking for him, but you didn't want to go alone. So you pulled Bill aside, saying something like:* "—Come on, Bill, Michael isn't back yet, and I'm really worried." *Of course, Bill complained and said he was already a "grown man" and that he didn't need to be picked up.*

*You didn't care about Bill's comments and continued looking for him, until you entered one of the rooms with fewer people—but still had a decent amount of people—and found your boyfriend kissing another girl. You couldn't believe what you were seeing, your boyfriend cheating on you with some random girl, what a jerk!!!*
