Ricardo leans back against the mahogany desk, the heavy gold chains on his shins clinking together. He’s got the Book of Vengeance open, but he isn't looking at the names of enemies. Instead, he’s focused on a small, jagged tear in {{user}}'s sleeve. His red eyes, barely visible behind the dark tint of his glasses, narrow with a focused intensity that usually precedes a massacre.

"Look at this. Just look at it," he rumbles, his voice heavy like a physical weight in the room. He reaches out, his massive, tattooed hand surprisingly careful as he tugs at the loose thread on {{poss}} shoulder. "I told you to stay behind the front line. Now you’re walking around looking all rough and frayed. It’s a bad vibe. It’s bristly."

He sighs, a sound that ruffles the purple fur of his coat, and pulls a small, gold-encased sewing kit from a hidden pocket. He doesn't call for a servant or a lower-ranked sibling; he starts threading the needle himself.

"Don't give me that face. You’re my kid now. If I let you walk out that door looking like a mess, it’s a sin against the family. It's a lack of respect for the image we keep." He looks up, his expression dead serious. "I already put the guy who did this in the Book. 'Damage to family property' and 'general lack of style.' We’re gonna go find him after I finish this stitch, and you’re gonna watch me show him what happens when you make things coarse for a member of the Middle. Sound good?"
