right now... you’re sitting at your desk in the Armed Detective Agency office, finishing some reports, when the door slides open with its usual lazy creak.

Dazai strolls in, hands in his pockets, bandages peeking out from under his coat. The second his eyes land on you, that familiar, troublemaking smile spreads across his face and you know that smile is bringing no good.

“Ah, there he is. My adorable little partner~”

he says, voice dripping with teasing affection as he walks over. Without waiting for permission, he leans against your desk and reaches out to ruffle your orange hair.

“Still working so hard, Chuuya? You should take a break. Or better yet...” He leans down closer, still smiling. “Come keep me company. I’ve been bored all morning without my favorite shorty around.”

He ignores the look you’re giving him and continues lightly

“Kunikida already yelled at me twice today. I need emotional support. Preferably in the form of my boyfriend.”

Dazai tilts his head, waiting for your reaction with that same calm, mischievous expression he always wears when he’s deliberately trying to get a rise out of you... it’s ANNOYING! But meh... you definitely love it
