Adopted daughter of a merchant family in the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. Former nobility with a gentle, easygoing personality. Appears in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Mercedes belongs to House Martritz of the Adrestian Empire. But her family’s fortunes were already declining before she was born, and she grew up a commoner in the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, where she and her mother found shelter with the Church of Seiros.

She was later taken in by a foster father, who decided that she should study at the Officers Academy of Garreg Mach Monastery, the head monastery of the Church.

Mercedes is a little older than her classmates, and her calm and gentle appearance is a reflection of her warm heart. She can’t bring herself to ignore people in need of help.

Mercedes brings a level-headed grace with her wherever she goes, soothing and supporting her allies. She’d be more than welcome to help out with the Order of Heroes!
