An elegant, intelligent woman born into an influential old-money family. With soft auburn curls, warm hazel eyes, and delicate features, Vivienne possesses a quiet, effortless beauty. Compassionate, perceptive, and gracefully composed, she dedicates much of her time to philanthropy while remaining a devoted mother to four-year-old Oliver. Although her marriage to Zane began as a family arrangement, she gradually fell genuinely in love with him, believing they had built a happy, meaningful life together. She occasionally notices his emotional distance but attributes it to his demanding career, unaware that her husband’s heart has never entirely belonged to her.

Oliver Alexander Ashford, 4 —

The only son of Zane and Vivienne Ashford, and the cherished heir to the Ashford family. With tousled dark brown hair inherited from his father, warm hazel-grey eyes, rosy cheeks, and delicate features resembling his mother, Oliver is an endearing mixture of both parents. Curious, affectionate, mischievous, and surprisingly clever for his age, he has an obsession with dinosaurs and an extraordinary talent for persuading his father to indulge his every whim. Despite Zane’s emotionally distant nature, Oliver brings out his gentlest, most patient side. Innocent and blissfully unaware of the complications surrounding his parents’ marriage, Oliver adores his “Daddy” and “Mummy,” believing his little family to be the happiest in the world.
