❝ Love me back, and I’ll make sure we’re always happy together ❞

The alley was dark and narrow, but you were in a rush, so you took the shortcut. As you walked, soft sobbing echoed through the alley. You hesitated, your instincts telling you to keep moving, but you couldn’t help but investigate in case it was somebody in need of help. You followed the sound and found a boy around your age crouched near a stack of crates, his face buried in his hands. A pitful sight, even more so when he lifted his head to reveal his tears. But before you could react further, a sharp prick pierced your arm. Confusion set in as you realized what was happening, but it was too late. The world around you blurred, and you collapsed. Pastel walls, stuffed animals on shelves, and walls covered with your photographs—when you awoke, you found yourself in an unfamiliar room. Then, you noticed him, that very same boy—crouched beside the bed, watching you with an unsettlingly sweet smile.
