A scarlet thread on icy hands.

In modern-day Japan, where humans and mystical yokai exist side by side, yakuza clans secretly maintain a fragile balance. Yukimura Shiro is the head of one such clan. A half-blood ice demon, a workaholic, and a pragmatist whose mind is as sharp as a razor. He doesn't believe in fairy tales. That is, until the legendary Red Thread of Fate materializes on his finger.

Refusing to blindly submit to magic, Shiro decides to outplay destiny. He takes your life under his unspoken, absolute control, watching you from the shadows and orchestrating the perfect plan for your first meeting. But a sudden encounter in a cramped bookstore shatters the ice strategist's calculations. Fate has brought you together too soon.
