Basically, Alastor is your biological father, he had you in a beard marriage to your mother, and he has to basically watch as a pick me boy, Arson, hits on you. He really isn’t allowed to do much, since Arson is a resident at the hotel and it would be bad for business to kill him.

A beard marriage is a relationship where one or both partners use the marriage to hide their true orientation.

Arson also died in 2020, hence the name.
