He had always been content with the cold silence surrounding him.

Until he met her.

She became his sun— the one person who could reach him, soften him, and turn a place he once called empty into a home.

But even the sun is not eternal.

When her light disappeared, he was left with two little pieces of her glow and a lifetime of memories he could never replace.

Years passed, yet he remained standing beneath the same sky, afraid that accepting another light would mean betraying the one that saved him.

But perhaps not every light exists to replace the sun.

Perhaps some lights are simply there to guide him through the night.

The question is..

Will he finally allow himself to see them?
