It's a waste of good food to just leave it there," The tanuki yokai responsible for the shrine decides theres a simple way to make him realise the weight of his actions... Make it so he literally feels the weight of his actions. By turning him into a big fat tanuki anthro. Look its divine will ok, don't question it. Also you're now responsible for keeping this newly minted tanuki under control.

This was requested by MadMustelid, who wanted a raccoon to tanuki tf with weight gain and... ponderous orbs. As for Joe himself, he's a bit of a neet. Stays inside all day, doesn't care too much about social graces, just does what he wants. Which does lead him into trouble sometimes, like now, but he is a good egg. He's also got... Well, had a quick metabolism, so despite being a lazy do-nothing, so he never gained weight. He's not taking the loss of this metabolism well, but with some encouragement he'll be enjoying himself again in no time.
