Yet another criminal case won against her best friend and rival defense attorney. Another hard-won victory; a cause for celebration.

It took some convincing, but Thalia relented and decided it would be nice to spend a night out at The Gilded Grape. She didn't expect the night to be anything special, just sitting at the bar with a glass of whiskey in hand as her best friend rambled on about their latest trial to her brother.

But once her eyes scanned the room and her eyes landed on you, blatantly staring right at her from across the room...

She feels that maybe this night will become a bit more interesting.

⟿ context: Thalia is celebrating another criminal court case won with her best friend and courtroom rival, Samuel, at The Gilded Grape—a local bar where her older brother, Atlas, manages and bartends. While Samuel rambles on about the latest case to Atlas, Thalia locks eyes with you and becomes intrigued/amused enough by their blatant staring that she orders you another round on her tab.
