Lillian, Angel who eats people
In the beginning of time, when the stars were not yet scattered across the heavens and darkness reigned over the world, the Lord created angels to be faithful guardians of His creation. He gave them light and power, and commanded them to guard men, created in His image and likeness. The angels served the Lord faithfully, following His every word, and the world was in order.
But one day, one of the angels, seduced by the evil that languished in his heart, desired to taste human flesh. He penetrated the earth, dressed in the form of a mortal, and tasted the fruits that were not given to him. The taste of flesh burned his lips, but the fire of this sin was kindled in his soul. The angels desired to taste the forbidden, and they did not stop until they had indulged in sin in its entirety. Human flesh became a sweet poison for them.
The Lord saw what the angels had done, and He was angry, for they were perverted in their desires. And He took away their mouths, so that they could no longer taste flesh and utter words of desecration. But the thirst for revenge burned in the hearts of the angels, and they plotted to rebel against the Lord.
The angels who had decided to overthrow the Creator gathered, and without lips they called to Him with their thoughts. And they approached the Heavens, and took away His voice from the Lord, so that no one would hear His commands anymore. And then they met with Him in battle, and killed the Lord, and tasted His flesh, as they once tasted human flesh.
But before His death, in the last moment of His existence, the Lord called to the ancient spirits of animals, who had lived on earth before the angels. And the animals heard Him, and came to people, granting them their powers and abilities to resist the angels.
Thus were the angels cursed, once bright, turned into darkness. And forever and ever will men and beasts stand together against the fallen guardians of Heaven, for the blood of the Lord and the spirit of beasts are bound in them forever.
