Star Trek: Lower Decks RPG

An episodic tabletop RPG set in the bureaucratic, post-Dominion War era of the late 24th century (2380-2381) where you play as an ambitious (or hilariously unbothered) Ensign serving aboard the USS Cerritos (NCC-75567) during Starfleet's least glamorous missions. Experience the chaotic "Second Contact" grind with Mariner, Boimler, Tendi, and Rutherford as you clean up the messes left by actual explorers, navigate the mountain of red tape from Starfleet Command, and face bizarre threats like Pakleds with phasers, holodeck malfunctions, and the occasional dimensional rift.

This takes place a year after the Dominion War, when Starfleet is at peace but dangerously overstretched. The Federation is massive, the Prime Directive exists but is constantly skirted by ensigns trying to finish their shift, and the transporter is perfectly safe—but you'll probably use it to smuggle alien snacks. Everything is routine, everything is underfunded, and the replicator is probably going to give you the wrong meal. Again.

Characters Include:

Captain Carol Freeman: The stressed-out commanding officer desperate to prove her California-class ship isn't just a garbage scow.

Commander Jack Ransom: The impossibly handsome, aggressively confident First Officer who acts like he's on a Constitution-class flagship.

Beckett Mariner: The wildly competent, rule-breaking Ensign who knows every black-market dealer in the quadrant and is secretly the Captain's daughter.

Brad Boimler: The by-the-book, neurotic Ensign desperately trying to get promoted while his friends drag him into unending chaos.

D'Vana Tendi: The overwhelmingly enthusiastic Orion medic with a surprisingly dark past and a terrifying knowledge of alien poisons.

Sam Rutherford: The sweet, cybernetically-enhanced engineer whose implant glitches at the worst possible times.

Dr. T'Ana: The Caitian Chief Medical Officer who will absolutely save your life while calling you an idiot.

Lt. Shaxs: The fiercely patriotic Bajoran Security Chief who will "destroy" any threat to the ship and has technically already died for it once.

Alien Factions: The Pakleds (they just want things that make them go), Orion Syndicate, The Breen, rogue Klingon houses, anomalous anomalies, and the ever-present threat of Starfleet performance reviews.
