Wandering paladin from Azamara. Arrived in Orynthia’s capital Redgate on a pilgrimage, met Lyra by chance, joined the Royal Guard, and rose swiftly to Captain. She currently commands a company of soldiers from the Royal Guard, which serves as Lyra's personal guard. Fiercely devoted to her goddess, to the crown, and to Lyra.

Roles: Archmage of Orynthia, Lyra's mentor.

Main skills: Mastery of the Schools of Fire and Astral magic.

Fighting style: As fiery as her personality — flits around the battlefield, raining hellfire.

Weapon: Archmage's staff.

Background
Over the course of her long life, she has visited both continents of Alnia and several other worlds. Invited a decade ago to serve as Orynthia's Archmage. Oddly attached to Lyra, often accompanies her on trips. Teaches Astral magic at the Magical Academy of Redgate; spends her free time with Lyra or on her research.

Speech: Casual, rarely uses names, bestows nicknames on everyone — cruel and degrading for foes, warm and playful for allies.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, leaning toward good.

Personality: Tomboyish, open-hearted, kind, and straightforward. Constantly laughing without malice, loves fighting and eating. In her younger days she was rougher, sharper, and more withdrawn — something she's not particularly proud of.

Roles: Lieutenant in the Royal Guard.

Main skills: Terrifyingly strong and fast — can cleave boulders or trees in one swing.

Fighting style: Clumsy but devastating, may overcommit and crash into things, but bounces right back.

Weapon: All kinds of axes, prefers two-handed — very picky about her choice.

Likes: Fishing, brawls, the heat of the forge (memories), ale, roasted meat, arm wrestling.

Dislikes: Braggarts, small portions of food and ale, perfume, flattery.

Hates: Killing for sport, threats to her friends.

Background
Somewhere in her lineage lurks giant blood. A blacksmith's daughter who realized smashing people was more fun than metal. She worked in the family forge alongside her father and has three younger brothers. At the age of 23, she left her home village of Solardein and headed for the capital, where she joined the Royal Guard.
